Etymology

Inherited from Ancient Greek ὅ τι (hó ti), also written ὅ,τι (hó,ti), neuter singular of ὅστις (hóstis).

      He's a spoiled child; they give him anything he wants.

      Κάνε ό,τι θέλεις, δεν μ’ ενδιαφέρει πια.

      Káne ó,ti théleis, den m’ endiaférei pia.

      Do whatever you want, I don't care anymore.

      Θα κάνω ό,τι μπορώ. ― Tha káno ó,ti boró. ― I'll do what I can.

   2. (in place of an adjective + noun) any, whoever/whatever

      Synonym: όποιος (ópoios)

      Ό,τι^όποιος καθηγητής και αν με διδάξει, εγώ δε θα καταλάβω τίποτα.

      Ó,ti^ópoios kathigitís kai an me didáxei, egó de tha katalávo típota.

      Whoever professor teaches me, I'll understand nothing. (literally, double negation: I will not understand nothing.)

      Ό,τι^όποιον καιρό έχει η Αθήνα, έχει περίπου και η Πελοπόννησος.

      Ó,ti^ópoion kairó échei i Athína, échei perípou kai i Pelopónnisos.

      Whatever weather Athens has, also approximately has the Peloponnese.
