[edit]Borrowed from Armenian կացին (kacʻin, “axe”), from Old Armenian կացին (kacʻin), from Classical Syriac ܚܨܝܢܐ (xaṣṣīnāʼ, “axe, pickaxe”), from Akkadian 𒍏𒄩𒍣𒅔 (ḫaṣṣinnum).
