Borrowed from Armenian կացին (kacʻin, axe), from Old Armenian կացին (kacʻin), from Classical Syriac ܚܨܝܢܐ (xaṣṣīnāʼ, axe, pickaxe), from Akkadian 𒍏𒄩𒍣𒅔 (ḫaṣṣinnum).
