[edit]From zdraj (“to swell, to make swell”), a prefixal derivative from Proto-Albanian *d(e)ranja (compare Sanskrit दृणाति (dṛṇāti, “to burst”) and Ancient Greek δέρω (dérō, “to skin, to flay”)).[1]
