- (transitive) to gas, to asphyxiate (to poison someone with carbon monoxide)
- (transitive) to gas (to fill a room with carbon monoxide)
- (transitive, by extension) to make someone think unclearly or forget facts (Is there an English equivalent to this definition?)
- (reflexive with się) to get gassed, to asphyxiate (to be poisoned someone with carbon monoxide) [with instrumental ‘with what’]
- Synonyms: oczadzieć, zaczadzieć, zagorzeć
