- A regional office of the Finnish Ministry of Environment, officially translated into English as Centre for Environment.
Usage notes
[edit]The Centres for Environment have been discontinued from the beginning of 2010 and replaced with offices called elinkeino-, liikenne- ja ympäristökeskus (“Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment”) or more speaker-friendly ELY-keskus (“ELY Centre”), which are joint regional officies of several ministries.
