izputēt (pazust, izzust) no zemes virsus (virsas) ― to disappear from the face (lit. surface) of the earth

nolādēt no zemes virsus (virsas) ― to curse off the surface of the earth (= to curse very strongly)

Usage notes

The synonym virsa is usually preferred in all senses of virsus, except for the locative singular form virsū, often used as an adverb or particle (corresponding to the verbal prefix uz-).
