Verb
[edit]välla (present väller, preterite vällde, supine vällt, imperative väll)
- (sometimes with a particle like from (“forth”), in (“in”), or ut (“out”)) to flow in great quantities (of liquid, gas, or figuratively of for example people); to gush, to pour, to well, to billow
- Blodet vällde ut ur drakens sår
- Blood gushed out of the dragon's wound
- Tjock rök vällde fram ur skorstenen
- Thick smoke billowed out of the chimney
- Folk vällde in i butiken
- People poured into the store
- (sometimes with a particle like ihop (“together”)) to forge weld, to fire weld
- to heat (metal, when forging)
