From therio- +‎ -cide. Coined by Piers Beirne in a 2014 paper.[1]

theriocide (countable and uncountable, plural theriocides)

  1. (countable, uncountable) The killing of a non-human animal by a human.
  2. (countable, uncountable) Actions caused by humans which lead to the death of non-human animals, such as deforestation.
