superflip (plural superflips)

  1. (Rubik's Cube) The position on a Rubik's cube that has every corner cubie positioned and oriented correctly and every edge cubie positioned correctly but oriented wrong. That is to say, all the edges are flipped around.

      Many people have worked on God's algorithm for the Rubik's Cube. For a while it was guessed that the superflip position is the position which is as far from ‘start’ (the solved position) as possible.
