  1. (usually impersonal) to snap (lose one's composure, go crazy)
    Det slog slint när han upptäckte frugan till sängs med brevbäraren
    He lost it ("it snapped") when he discovered his wife in bed with the mailman
  2. to go wrong, to fail
    Planen slog slint
    The plan went wrong
