1. (pinball, often attributive) An older form of pinball where the player rolls a ball manually down the table rather than propelling it onto the table with a plunger.

     New rolldown uses pinball-size balls and, except for the fact that the game has the conventional open rolldown table end and does not use a plunger, the game's playing surface resembles the pinball variation of Bermuda.
