Usage notes

[edit]

This is mostly a borrowing from Central Kurdish ڕۆژ باش (roj baş), which is calqued from Arabic مَسَاء اَلْخَيْر (masāʔ al-ḵayr). Local Kurds mostly say "roj bi xêr" or "roj xweş" in colloquial speech.
