  1. means, resources
    Mi mensogis, sed mi kredis, ke la rimedo praviĝis ĉe la fino.
    I lied, but I felt the means were justified by the end.
    1. (plural only) money to afford something
      Mi ne havas la rimedojn por vivteni familion.
      I don't have the means to support a family.
      La rimedoj por aĉeti novan biciklon mankis al ŝi.
      She couldn't afford a new bicycle.
      (literally, “She lacked the resources to buy a new bicycle.”)
  2. remedy, solution, cure
    Mi ricevis rimedon por lukti kontraŭ la infekto.
