rhineurynter (plural rhineurynters)
- (medicine, archaic) A dilatable bag, inserted into the nostril and inflated to arrest a profuse nosebleed.
1897, A text-book of surgery[1], volume 2:Epistaxis has also been arrested by tamponing the nasal cavity by means of an India-rubber tube, the so-called rhineurynter.
