The thorax patterns of the resh cicada, with a possible Hebrew or Arabic resh-like pattern as the color green, or the Aramaic resh pattern as the color black.

Etymology

From resh +‎ cicada, a partial calque of translingual Megatibicen resh. From a character, either Aramaic 𐡓 (r), Hebrew ר (r) or Arabic ر (r), named resh, which resembles patterns commonly found on the thoraxes of members of this species.
