[edit]Borrowed from Arabic رَغَائِف (raḡāʔif), plural of رَغِيفَة (raḡīfa, “loaf”), colloquial variant of رَغِيف (raḡīf, “loaf”). Cognate with Galician and Portuguese regueifa.
