- to withdraw into a place, so as to have no contact with others

- Ceux qui seront reclus pour un temps n’auront point voix active au chapitre; et ceux qui se feront reclure à toujours n’auront ni voix active, ni voix passive.
- Those who will be reclusive for a time will not have an active voice in the chapter; & those who will cloister themselves forever will have neither an active, nor a passive voice.
