- 1953, “The Cartel Comeback – A U. S. Failure”, in Prevent World War III[1], number 42, Society for the Prevention of World War III, Inc., page 39:
- The West-German lobby of industrialists became bolder and bolder. Two months later (March 26, 1953) the New York Times reported that the lobby had succeeded in forcing the German Government to retreat still further by agreeing "in principle to permit a recartelization of industry..." under certain conditions. By accepting this proposal the Bonn Government has legalized the re-establishment of cartels and other types of monopolies in Germany.
