1. (archaic) lace shawl (shawl or wrap made of homespun canvas decorated with a woven or embroidered trail or of tulle decorated with embroidery or lace)
2. (obsolete or dialectal, Przemyśl) rural shawl; headscarf (quadrangular piece of linen thrown over the head; part of the oldest rural costume used by men until the 15th century, later only by women)
3. (obsolete) noble shawl (large plaid or striped shawl, used by noblewomen in the 16th and 17th centuries, later homespun, used by rural women)
