[edit]- Cognate to Gheg Albanian qeski and qyski.
- Related to Albanian qysq (“dibble”) (Gheg Albanian qysk (“id”), qesk (“id”)). Probably a loan from Turkish küski (“lever, staff”).[2]
- Probably related to qesas (“I cut”).
