push through (third-person singular simple present pushes through, present participle pushing through, simple past and past participle pushed through)

  1. (transitive, figurative) To force (legislation) to be passed.
  2. (intransitive, figurative) To overcome (pain, discomfort, etc.) by force or willpower.
  3. (Philippines, transitive, figurative, especially with to or with) To continue or proceed.
