pruju
Appearance
Finnish
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Probably from French brouille, brouillon (“sketch, notes”), possibly through Russian [Term?], originally through Helsinki slang. Alternatively borrowed from Russian сбруя (sbruja, “horse tack; instrument, tool”) (accusative: сбрую (sbruju)), compare mortu (“face”, obsolete, Viipuri slang)).
