[edit]From Pollux + ite, named after Pollux, the twin of Castor, as it is often found associated with castorite (now petalite).

- (mineralogy) A colorless transparent mineral of the zeolite family consisting of hydrous cesium aluminum silicate and occurring massive or crystallizing in cubes.
