- A syringe-like device for administering medicinal pills to animals.
- Synonym: pill gun
- (informal, humorous) A person who enjoys or frequently takes medication in pill form.
- Well, you know, once Pop got into his sixties, he came to be a bit of a pill popper, what with the blood pressure and the blood sugar and the cholesterol and the arthritis.
- (informal, often derogatory) A person who frequently takes any other kind of pill, such as vitamins or illicit drugs.
