- (pathology) The presence of phosphorus (typically as some form of phosphate) in the blood
- 2015 October 14, “Epidemiology of CKD Regression in Patients under Nephrology Care”, in PLOS ONE[1], :
- A recent meta-analysis [15 ], aimed at assessing the association of ΔGFR with subsequent risk of ESRD, has similarly reported an association between improved eGFR and lower risk of ESRD. At variance with that study, however, we also considered proteinuria, causes of CKD, BMI, phosphoremia, uricemia and Hb, as potential confounders of CKD regression.
