persevilience
Appearance
English
[edit]Etymology
[edit]There are some recorded uses of this blend word since 2011. Anthony Grant is noted to have used persevilience at a press conference. Alastair Campbell is noted to use persevilience in many conversations and writing, specifically to highlight the most importance skill for dealing with the day-to-day brutal combat of modern politics. Whilst some recorded use on Twitter refers to the novelty of the word, it is seen to be used to draw attention specifically to occasions when the use of the individual words perseverance and resilience do not capture the essence of the importance of the combined attributes.
