Noun

pelmatogram (plural pelmatograms)

  1. (rare) An imprint of the sole or plantar surface of a foot, such as may be made by pressing an inked foot onto paper or a greased foot in plaster of Paris.
In modern times, the only use I've heard for making a pelmatogram is for newborn babies, as a form of identification.
