A parabolic reflector for radio waves

parabolic reflector

  1. A reflector with a curved reflecting surface that forms part of a paraboloid (as opposed to, for example, a sphere)

Parabolic reflector refers to an object designed to reflect any non-specific wave (e.g. radio, water or sound). If the reflector is designed to reflect visible light, it is often referred to as a parabolic mirror instead.
