Compare Ge'ez ተፈሥሐ (täfäśśəḥä, to rejoice, be glad) and Sabaean 𐩠𐩰𐩦𐩢 (hfs²ḥ, to cause to rejoice).

  1. to rest, refresh oneself
  2. to calm down, be(come) appeased, relaxed, tranquil, content, be at rest
