Etymology

[edit]

From Old Swedish ondsko fulder, equivalent to ondska (evil) +‎ -e- +‎ -full (-ful) ("full of evil").

Adjective

[edit]

ondskefull (comparative ondskefullare, superlative ondskefullast)

  1. evil, sinister, malevolent, wicked
    en ondskefull plan
    an evil plan
    ett ondskefullt skratt
    an evil laugh
    Han är riktigt ondskefull

Usage notes

[edit]

Mostly synonymous with ond (evil) as expected from "full of evil." Sometimes sounds better when something is indicative of evil rather than being an evil being in itself, like an evil plan or an evil laugh.
