From ohe (“bed”) +‎ -ra (“to”, allative suffix) +‎ -tu (verbal suffix).

Verb

oheratu ? (imperfect participle oheratzen, future participle oheratuko, short form ohera, verbal noun oheratze)

1. to go to bed, lie down

   Bera oso goiz oheratu zen. ― He went to bed very early.

   Oheratu nahi duzu? ― Do you want to lie down?

2. to sleep with, have sex with (with a comitative noun phrase or pronoun)

   Zurekin oheratu nahi du. ― He wants to sleep with you.

3. to sleep together, have sex, make love (with a plural subject, and, usually, elkarrekin, "with each other")

   Ez dakit zergatik ez ginen inoiz elkarrekin oheratu. ― I don't know why we never slept together.
