  Customers who made purchases at Moss’s recent sale, held in a rented space around the corner, were given a card entitling them to a 15 percent discount on nonsale items in the store that are $500 or more, and items left over from the sale are being sold online as “Web specials,” Mr. Getchell said, which “is very odd for us — we never did it before.”
