Short for non prosequitur.

non-pros (third-person singular simple present non-prosses, present participle non-prossing, simple past and past participle non-prossed) (law)

1. To decline or fail to prosecute; to allow (a lawsuit) to be dropped.
2. To enter judgement against (a plaintiff who fails to prosecute).
