Etymology
[edit]Inherited from Sanskrit निष्क्रामति (niṣkrāmati) but rather with the zero grade seen in the middle निष्क्रमते (niṣkramate) with synchronic support as nis- + kamati, via which source however it is also a doublet of nikkamati.
