     Considering the fact that English is commonly used by non-native speakers the occurrence of such miscoinages is remarkably low.

   • 2017, John McVeagh, Thomas Durfey and Restoration Drama:

     The wretch 'Grizled with hair' (meaning 'Having grey hair with hair') is a typical Durfey miscoinage. Something is said which sounds meaningful but is not.
