[edit]mineralizer (plural mineralizers)
- An element which is combined with a metal to form an ore.
- In galena, or lead ore, sulphur is a mineralizer; in hematite, oxygen is a mineralizer.
- A volatile or other substance, such as water, that facilitates the recrystallization of rocks.
