mill drill (plural mill drills)

  1. A classroom exercise in which students have to mill around to exchange information.
  2. A type of drill that combines a belt-driven drill press with the X/Y coordinate abilities of a milling machine's table and a locking collet that ensures that the cutting tool will not fall from the spindle due to lateral forces against the bit.
