Etymology

Literally, we will be seeing (each other). From newer speech, probably a calque from Norwegian Bokmål vi ses. The form sjåast (instead of expected sest) is not same as passive sjåast, but is derived from the infinitive form of the verb sjå, while the traditional way derives it from present (ser).
