masaliisa
Appearance
Finnish
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Superficially Masa + Liisa, and there are many stories about e.g. café owners of those names, or of a café owner named Liisa as a daughter of Masa, etc. Yet another sees it as a vernacular form of English mocha slice. However, these may all be folk etymologies.
