[edit]From “Man Andis”, from “Hermano Andres”, a nickname of Andres Abellana, a city councilor during the American Occupation of the Philippines. Abellana's unique hobby was listing names of supposed henpecked husbands, allegedly including then governor-general of the Philipines Theodore Roosevelt, Sergio Osmeña, and Emilio Aguinaldo.
