1. To systematize; to create a well-defined process for.
   • 1920, Steam Shovel and Dredge - Volume 28, page 151:

   • 1930, The Portland City Club Bulletin - Volumes 11-12:

2. To mechanize; to change so that (something) is done by machines.
   • 1992, Mokslas Ir Lietuva, page 102:

     Thus, some premises have been made to "machinize" the process of investigation, i.e., to computerize it, thus increasing the efficiency of investigation.
