[edit]Inherited from Sanskrit मञ्जूषा (mañjūṣā), ultimately of Dravidian origin.[1] Compare Prakrit [Term?] 𑀫𑀁𑀚𑀽𑀲𑀸 (maṃjūsā, “box, chest”).
