  1. (obsolete, rare) Synonym of motor aphasia
    • 1898, Joseph Collins, The Genesis and Dissolution of the Faculty of Speech, New York: Macmillan, page 8:
      Ideas are usually exteriorized by spoken words, by written words, by symbols, and by pantomime. Thus, we have aphasia of articulation, or logaphasia; and aphasia of writing, agraphia or logagraphia; asymbolia, and asemia.
