lacrimal nerve (plural lacrimal nerves)

  1. (neuroanatomy) A small branch of the ophthalmic nerve that enters the lacrimal gland with the lacrimal artery and supplies the lacrimal gland and the adjacent conjunctiva and the skin of the upper eyelid.
    Coordinate terms: frontal nerve, nasociliary nerve
