  1. Pain on muscular exertion; pain caused by muscular movement.
    • 1875 March 10, “Gubler on Cinesialgia”, in The London Medical Record:
      Cinesialgia, or kinesialgia, means, according to him, that state of the muscle in which its contractility cannot come into play without producing locally a keen and sometimes intolerable pain, which is always more or less incompatible with the regular exercise of the motor function.
