[edit]The Finnish word kanootti may refer both to kayak and canoe, or to other similar light boat. For the sake of clarity, eskimokanootti or kajakki may be used of a kayak and intiaanikanootti, inkkarikanootti, avokanootti and kanadalaiskanootti for a canoe.
