[edit]Prefixed with kaca-. The origin of the second morpheme -bu / -bû is unclear, likely ultimately a babble word,[1] as is the prefixoid bubu- (“beetle”). Alternatively a variant of buall (“buffalo; stag beetle”), by back-formation from its plural.[2]
