Etymology

Inherited from Ottoman Turkish كلیاً (külliyen),[1][2] from Arabic كُلِّيًّا (kulliyyan), adverbial accusative of كُلِّيّ (kulliyy), from كُلّ (kull, each, every, whole, all) +‎ ـِيّ (-iyy, nisba suffix).[3]
