Etymology

iN- (thus, in a certain direction, in a certain manner) + -nikaazo (named). Cognate with Algonquin ijinikàzo

Verb

izhinikaazo (changed conjunct form ezhinikaazod, reduplicated form ayizhinikaazo)

  1. be named a certain way, have a certain name, be called by such a name
    "Bangii" izhinikaazo awe indinawemaagan.
    My relative's name is Bangii, "a little bit".
