[edit]izaar (plural izaars)
- A wrap garment that typically covers the waist and legs and is worn by men under a thobe.
- 2003, Saleh Fauzan Al-Fauzan, translated by Burhan Loqueman, Rulings Pertaining to Muslim Women, page 73:
- It is mustahabb to clothe the dead woman in five white sheets, including an Izaar (wrapper) around her waist, a Khimaar (covering) on her head, a chemise, and two sheets wrapped around her on top of these clothes.
